  1. This disk contains a revision of the program Airfoil, which appeared
  2. originally on Fred Fish disk #71.

  4. A technical correction has been made, which allows for a term neglected
  5. in the original program. Inclusion of this term vastly improves the
  6. credibility of the airflow pattern and pressure distribution when the wing
  7. is inclined to the airflow. As with the original program, the basic theory
  8. is ' in the public domain '. The trick was to get the improvement into
  9. a form consistent with the original programming. I couldnt do this
  10. exactly, but the approximation made is sufficient for flow visualization
  11. purposes.

  15. The program restarts well for small angles of incidence ( < 10 degrees )
  16. but the requester is not responded to for large incidence angles.
  17. May be a memory problem because the code seems insensitive to angle
  18. of incidence changes.
